OUTPUT DESCRIPTION

SCARCE intranet offers information about the available data from public administration of the four river basins (Llobregat, Ebro, Jucar and Guadalquivir). Scarce database contains specific and new information of the research teams from the field work done in the framework of SCARCE project. Data about levels of priority and emergent contaminants and biological fluvial communities have been sheltered in an unique digital framework. It can be employed for checking of hydrological, nutrients and contaminant models.

 
STATE OF DEVELOPMENT

Currently it is being completed with project data. It represents new information which was not available in previous database. Previously, to public access, its use is limited for publishing activities of the authors.

 
INNOVATIVE ASPECTS AND ADVANTAGES

It is friendly database which store the information about generated data in the four basins of the project. Long list of priority and emergent compounds were analyzed. Algae, invertebrates and fish community information is also available.

The intellectual property rights correspond to SCARCE project and it can be employed for third parties only previous requesting authorization

The design and structure of database can be employed in other river basins
