Proiectul LIFE09 ENV/FR/000593 a inceput la 1 septembrie 2010. Primele luni au dedicate definirii conceptelor principale: „rezultate, produse, nevoiele pietei, riscuri pentru inovare”. Pentru a putea merge catre metodologia de evalaure utilizata in scorarea proiectelor de cerecetare si a rezultatelor : instrumentul REMAS. Inca de la inceputul proiectului, WaterRtoM a identificat si scorat 200 de proiecte de cercetare la nivel european ( din cadrul Programelor LIFE si Interreg) si la nivel national (pentru Franta, Polonia, Spania si Romania).
